Steve Jobs was famous for conducting meetings while on long walks.  He did this because he believed it increased creativity.  Walking is a simple exercise which is often over looked but can have great impact on us physically, mentally and spiritually.  Walking increases heart rate and helps with digestion and is a great way to meditate.  Many of us don’t spend the time meditating because we find it frustrating and nearly impossible to sit still and concentrate.  Try walking meditation, keep a calm, smooth pace, relax and free your mind.

We often take our daughter for walks, we walk in the morning, at night after dinner, on trails and everywhere in between.  We really enjoy this time because it allows us to connect and forget about the trivial concerns that may be nagging at us.  Find 30 minutes in your day to add a walk and enjoy the results of such a simple practice.
