“Live Well, Serve Well.” Sean Corn

  • Do what you feel is right, despite what others might say or think.
  • Out of your abundance give to others.
  • Who can you bless today?
  • Pray for those who may be struggling.
  • Choose compassion over everything else.

Ask yourself, what does it mean to you to be compassionate?

Generally, most of us are compassionate with those we see as our equals. The less we are attached we are to our ego’s inclination for superiority, the more generous of spirit we can be with others. When we are being compassionate, we consider another’s circumstance with love rather than judgement. We see a homeless person and approach them with an open heart instead of fear, aggression, or disgust. To act with compassion is to move into the right here, right now with an open heart and willingness to be of service.
